Mountain bike through the Redwoods! For just $25 a rider, Shuttle Smith Adventures offers bike shuttles daily to the top of Forest of Nisene Marks, where you can rail the challenging singletrack loops of Soquel Demonstration Forest. This is the area made famous in mountain biking videos by locals Cam and Tyler McCaul, Greg Watts, Jamie Goldman and others. You sit in the comfort of the Shuttle Smith van on the gorgeous drive up through apple orchards and redwoods and then, when you’re done riding the renowned Ridge, Braille and other trails, you’ve got nothing but endless downhill awaiting you — a whole 15 miles of forest descent at your own pace, back to Aptos Village just south of the city of Santa Cruz. You can’t spend a better day on a mountain bike!

  2. Dave, “Shuttle” Smith was the Best. Great attitude, informative, and fun, Dave embodied the Mountain biking spirit, and helped us make the most of our experience within Nisene Marks and the Demonstration Forest. Amazing trails, Santa Cruz/Aptos.

  3. Shuttle Smith has updated the mighty box Van
    come and ride in the new box Van we can carry 11 riders and bikes.
    We also do custom shuttles got along trip planned check us out.

  4. New update we reconfigured the seating in the Van to seat nine people instead of 11 to give my valuable customers a little more room to relax before ride down through the redwoods.
